SOCIAL PHOBIA VISUALIZATION

Social Phobia is a mental disorder that frequently occurs among teenagers. Although it is very common, a large number of people don’t understand social phobia and may even think it’s just another word for shy. The Jail Inside You is a series of illustrations that could be used to describe the feeling of social phobia. The goal of this project is to let more people know and understand what social phobia is and understand the inner world of social phobia patients.
RESULTS
I summarized 14 words that could describe social phobia and made them into an illustration. The form of the figures in the illustrations is inspired by the plaster model, which has a lifeless feeling. The color tone of this series of illustrations is in grayscale, which emphasizes the boring and inner world of struggle experienced by social phobia patients.
