This AI-driven grocery shopping App – ShopPal, was made to solve multiple challenges seniors face during grocery shopping such as brand-choosing confusion, label-reading issues, and crowded environment annoyance. According to primary research, our team offered several solutions to support seniors with a customizable and humanized shopping experience. 

The solutions range from specific item choice suggestions via AI voice assistance, popular times of store notification, item wayfinding navigation, and smart label simplifiers. ShopPal is our pal that is customizable through conversations with users. It is our smart assistant, offering humanized care and service that are specialized for our seniors and not just the interface.

It was quite a challenge to create an app as a team, not only we need to work hard but we also need to cooperate with each other to show our best. Overall I learned a lot from this project, especially how to team up with people who have different working habit.
